A day that lives in infamy in the memory of every lupe on both sides of the war, the Raid was the first open, large-scale battle to take place between the warring packs. Under the light of a giant red moon, the allied ESLP, Lupes of the Bleeding Moon and Lupine Terrors swept through the Border Forest and waged war on the Fire Eagles and their Mt. Desri allies.
There were heavy casualties on both sides. The death count would have been even higher if, at the end of the fighting, Lopey appeared with two wolf-shields, Ulryk and Anzarah. These three super-powered lupes captured Bandit, Devonian and MockSlaughter and held them hostage, forcing a stand-off and retreat.

In all, () lupes were killed during the Raid. Many more sustained injuries, and a few eventually succumbed to the long-term effects of these injuries:
